SAT Subject Tests

Subject Tests are hour-long, content-based tests that allow you to showcase achievement in specific subject areas where you excel. These are the only national admission tests where you choose the tests that best showcase your achievements and interests. You can take up to THREE tests at a time. In conjunction with your other admission credentials (high school transcript, SAT/ACT Scores, teacher recommendations, etc.), they provide a more complete picture of your academic background and interests. Check out collegeboard.org for information on which areas the Subject Tests are offered in. When finalizing your list of colleges, be sure to check and see if the colleges you are applying to require you to take any Subject Tests.
